Yashika joined Izard Weston’s litigation team in September 2025, specialising in accident compensation and health law. She completed her Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University of Wellington in July 2025, working as a law clerk at another Wellington firm for two years while completing her studies. She also holds a Bachelor of Science (with Honours) in Mathematics from the University of Delhi. She is working towards admission to the Bar in 2026.
